Philanthropist, Activist and Entrepreneur

Philanthropy, activism, and a heart for charity are just but some of the words that describe the Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center Corp (BkMSCC) president Amoni Brown. Her heart and passion for community outreach as evidenced by her work at BkMSCC is enough proof of how self-driven and hardworking the business graduate is. Born and raised in east New York to Native American and Bajan parents, she has always been alive to the needs of the neighborhood she was brought up in.

She spent a number of years in the service industry and this fueled her need to help her community. Through her years of service, she was in positions that taught her social responsibility, mentorship, and entrepreneurship, all virtues that were fundamental for starting a non-profit community-based outreach organization. From a tender age, Amoni has always had an entrepreneurship and creative mindset and has been an inspiration to youth, women, men across Brooklyn.

The Amoni led Brooklyn Multi-Service Community Center Corp aims to provide services and education to the greater Brooklyn community while instilling morals and fostering unity. The wealth of knowledge, experience and resources available at BkMSCC has helped enhance and propel the eastern New York Community to unimaginable heights. Through their creative, upbeat and unique programs, events and workshops, BkMSCC helps create a sustainable environment and community in Brooklyn. The nonprofit center also partners and collaborates with local governments, individuals and organizations as it strives to build a more sustainable community. BkMSCC is just but one of the many projects that Amoni Brown has had a hand in. Vive Entertainment Enterprises Corporation, and Brown-Pugh Daughters & Sons are other organizations that she has been part of. She channels her creative spark through writing plays, poetry, children stories and scientific pieces. Modeling, acting, and graphic and makeup are just some of the other talents that she possesses.
